Atlas Mountains
This six-day tour of Morocco begins in Ouarzazate after traveling over the High Atlas Mountains, including a visit to an Argon oil cooperative and the UNESCO site of Ait Ben Haddou. The journey continues to Merzouga via the Draa Valley and Berber villages, followed by a day exploring the Erg Chebbi desert dunes, visiting the ‘black village’ of Khamlia for Gnawa music, and experiencing a 90-minute camel ride to a desert camp for an overnight stay. The tour then proceeds to Dades Gorge through Erfoud and the Todra Gorges, allowing for a walk in the towering gorge. The final leg involves a morning walk in Dades Gorge, traveling through El Kelaa Magona and the Skoura oasis before descending the High Atlas to visit Telouet and the Kasbah el Glaoui, culminating in an early evening arrival in Marrakech for the final overnight stay before airport transfer.
