Imperial Cities

This seven-day Moroccan itinerary begins with an arrival in Casablanca, including a potential visit to the Hassan II Mosque. The journey then proceeds to Fes, with stops in Rabat to see the old medina and historical sites, and Meknes to explore Moulay Ismail’s legacy. Three nights are spent in Fes, featuring a guided tour of its ancient walled medina and a free day for independent exploration. The trip continues with a scenic drive through the Middle and High Atlas Mountains to Marrakech, where two nights are spent. Activities in Marrakech include a visit to the vibrant Jemaa el-Fna square and a guided tour of the city’s palaces and souks. Finally, the itinerary concludes with a transfer from Marrakech to the airport for departure.

Itinerary

Day 01 - Arrival

Casablanca

Upon arrival in Casablanca on    @  , the economic capital of Morocco, you will be met by your personal driver and transferred to your Casablanca hotel, where you will check in and relax. Depending on your arrival time, you will have a visit to the Hassan II, one of the world’s biggest mosques.

Day 02

Fes

After breakfast, check out from your hotel leave by van towards Fes. On route, you will stop at Rabat, the capital city and residence of the King, to enjoy the beautiful coastal city, including the old medina, Kasbah of the Oudayas, the Oudaya Gate, and the Hassan Tower. You will then head on to Meknes and visit Moulay Ismail stables, granaries and House of Water, Bab el Mansour, and the Moulay Ismail Mausoleum. In the evening you will finish your trip into Fes, the spiritual capital of Morocco check in your hotel and overnight.

Day 03

Fes

After breakfast you will begin our guided tour of the medina, one of the world’s largest walled in cities. You will explore the narrow streets lined with fresh fruit, mounds of spices, intricately woven Berber carpets and many other art objects of Morocco. A visit to the King’s Palace, the tanneries, and potters are just a few places we will experience. Back to your hotel and overnight.

Day 04

Fes

A free day to relax and do some extra exploring of Fes and the souk.

Day 05

Marrakech

After an early breakfast, you will depart for Marrakech. The beautiful drive will take you up into the Middle Atlas Mountains and along the base of the High Atlas Mountains. Once in Marrakech, you will check into your hotel and then head off to the Jemaa el-Fna, the center square of the medina. The famous Jemaa el-Fna, is one of the center attractions of Marrakech. Coming alive at night with the local storytellers, entertainers, and mouth-watering barbeque pits, the square is well worth a visit. A quiet cup of tea on the terrace of an adjacent café provides a spectacular aerial view of the bustling square

Day 06

Marrakech

After breakfast, you will have a guided tour of Marrakech, the southern pearl of Morocco. You will discover the Palace of the Bahia, the Saadian Tombs, and many other hidden treasures. Afterwards you will continue with an exploration of the souk (market) of Marrakech.

Day 07

Departure

After Breakfast, transfer to the Airport to fly back home with everlasting memories of Land of Morocco departure on…. @….. – (B)
